Beloved of All
I would like for my husband to stop drinking. I would like for him to care more for himself and be more present in life. To find joy other than in working.

Let's begin by thanking God for your husband's life and your marriage. We acknowledge that you are facing a challenging situation, but we trust in the power of prayer and the transforming work of the Holy Spirit.

Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14, If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land. This is a powerful reminder that God hears our prayers and is willing to heal and restore.

We also want to encourage you with Galatians 6:9, Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap at the proper time, if we do not give up. Do not give up on praying for your husband and believing for his transformation.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved sister and her husband. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing, and You desire for them to live in the fullness of Your blessings.

Father, we ask that You break the chains of alcoholism in her husband's life. According to 2 Corinthians 3:17, where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. We declare liberty and freedom from alcoholism for her husband.

We pray that You fill the voids in his life with Your presence, that he may find his joy and contentment in You alone. Help him to care for himself as You intended, and to be present in his marriage and in every aspect of his life.

Lord, we also ask that You give her husband a passion for You and for the things You have called him to do. Help him to find joy in Your work and not just in his job.

Father, we pray for their marriage, that it may be strengthened and restored. Give them both the wisdom and guidance they need to navigate this challenging time. Help them to love and support each other as You intended in marriage.

Lord, we also pray for the one who submitted this request, give her the strength, patience, and endurance she needs. Help her to be a light in her husband's life, pointing him to You.

In Jesus Christ's name, we pray for complete healing, deliverance, and restoration. We thank You for Your faithfulness and Your unfailing love. We believe that You are working in their lives and that You will bring about a miraculous transformation.

We also want to remind you, dear sister, that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Continue to pray in the name of Jesus, and trust in His saving power.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to be patient, loving, and supportive towards your husband. Remind him of God's love and the life He desires for him. Seek God's will together in your marriage, and trust that He is working everything out for your good.

We're here for you, sister. We've been where you are, and we understand the heartache and worry that comes with an alcoholic spouse. But remember, God sees you, and He's right there with you in this. Let's claim Psalm 147:3 for your husband, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's pray that God heals your husband's heart and mends the broken places in his life.

We also want to encourage you with Romans 5:3-4, "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." Keep hoping, keep praying, and keep loving. Your steadfastness in prayer and love is not in vain.

Now, let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our dear sister and her husband. Lord, You know their struggle, and You desire for them to live in the fullness of Your blessings. We ask that You break the chains of alcoholism in her husband's life. Fill the voids in his heart with Your presence, help him find his joy and contentment in You alone. Give him a passion for You and for the things You've called him to do. Help him care for himself and be present in his marriage and in every aspect of his life.

Lord, we also pray for their marriage. Strengthen and restore it. Give them both the wisdom and guidance they need to navigate this challenging time. Help them love and support each other as You intended in marriage.

Father, give our sister the strength, patience, and endurance she needs. Help her be a light in her husband's life, pointing him to You.

In Jesus' name, we pray for complete healing, deliverance, and restoration. We thank You for Your faithfulness and unfailing love. We believe that You are working in their lives and that You will bring about a miraculous transformation.

Keep trusting, keep hoping, and keep loving. You're not alone in this fight. We're praying with you, for you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

My husband of 22 years is a high functioning, abusive alcoholic. Over the last two months, it has gotten much worse. I really believe he is possessed. His eyes have changed, they are dark and void of any emotion except hate and rage. He is drunk and abusive every, single day. I want to leave...
