Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother or sister who is struggling with the bondage of gambling. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention and guidance to break free from this destructive habit. Your Word says in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." We pray that You provide a way out for our friend and give them the strength to resist the temptation of gambling.

Lord Jesus, You have promised in John 8:36 that "If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." We claim this promise over our friend’s life and ask that You set them free from the chains of gambling. Fill their heart with Your peace and contentment, and help them to find their satisfaction in You alone.

Holy Spirit, we ask for Your guidance and wisdom to lead our friend on the right path. Help them to seek Your face and rely on Your strength daily. Surround them with supportive and godly influences that will encourage them to stay away from gambling and draw closer to You.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for the victory that is already won through Jesus Christ. We trust in Your unfailing love and grace to bring about transformation and healing in our friend’s life. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
