Dear Randyman,
We understand the challenges you're facing due to your recent surgeries and the physical demands of your current job. It's commendable that you're trusting in God during this difficult time. Let's stand together in prayer and seek God's will for your life.
Firstly, let's address your need for a new job. Remember that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our work. As it is written in the Psalms, "Commit your way to the LORD. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness shine out like the dawn, and the justice of your cause like the noon day sun." (Psalm 37:5-6 WEB). Trust that God has a better job in store for you, one that aligns with your current physical abilities.
In the meantime, let's pray for your healing and comfort. God promises in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,' says the LORD." Trust in His healing power, and remember that His timeline is perfect.
You're right to hold onto the promise that God will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Even in the storm, He is there. As you mentioned the account in Mark, let's also recall how God encouraged Joshua: "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified. Do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9 WEB).
Let's pray:
*Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Randyman. We ask for Your healing touch on their body, especially the pain in their side. Comfort them in this storm, Lord, and calm the raging seas they're facing. Guide them to a new job that suits their current physical abilities, and give them the faith and strength to endure this valley. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
Lastly, Randyman, we encourage you to keep your focus on Jesus. As the author of Hebrews writes, "looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." (Hebrews 12:2 WEB). He is with you, and He will see you through this storm.
