Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our friend who has been arrested. Lord, You know the circumstances and the details of this situation. We ask for Your mercy and intervention. We pray that if it is Your will, You would soften the hearts of those in authority and grant her favor and release and address the potential deportation issues.

We also pray for Your peace and comfort to be with our friend during this time. Help her to trust in You and to know that You are always with her, even in this difficult situation and that she can call out to the name of Jesus.

We ask so much more than this. And if it be your will, we ask that you use this opportunity to help her to seek you more in her life. We ask that you allow your Holy Spirit to move mightily in her life. That she comes to know you more and that you guide her to where she should be. And we ask that you give her the ability to forgive anyone who did any wrong to her in order that she can know your peace in this unfortunate situation.

Father, we also pray for those in authority, that they would act with justice and compassion. We ask that You would guide them and give them wisdom in their decisions.

Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for always hearing our prayers. We trust in Your will and in Your timing. We ask that she be your witness to all around her.
