Heavenly Father,
We come before You with humble hearts, lifting up Kyle in prayer. Lord, You are the God of miracles, and we believe in Your power to transform lives. Your Word tells us in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." We claim this promise for Kyle, trusting that You have a plan for his life that is filled with hope and a future free from the bondage of drugs and alcohol.
Lord, we ask that You break the chains of addiction that bind Kyle. In Your mighty name, Jesus, we pray for a complete and total transformation in his heart and mind. Let the truth of Your Word penetrate his soul, as it is written in Romans 12:2, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." Renew Kyle's mind, O Lord, and guide him towards Your perfect will for his life.
Father, surround Kyle with godly influences and a support system that will encourage and uplift him. As it is written in Proverbs 27:17, "Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend’s countenance." Bring people into his life who will sharpen him, hold him accountable, and walk with him on this journey to recovery.
We also pray for Bawergor, who is deeply concerned for Kyle. Grant Bawergor peace and strength, knowing that You are in control. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." May Bawergor find comfort in Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
