I need a lot of help for joining the military

Hii my name is Erica. I am very interested in joining the military but for some reason I keep making problems. I can't bring myself to do the sports exam soon enough. I am praying everyday but I feel like I'm making God angry with the same prayer over and over since I think I'm too selfish and self-concerned. This days since I feel too much pressure I keep making mistakes and I need a lot of help. Please, I'm literally crying for help. Would you be all kind and pray for me? I'd appreciate it with the whole soul and heart of mine

Firstly, it's important to understand that God is not angry with you for bringing your needs to Him repeatedly. In fact, He encourages us to cast all our anxieties on Him (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Jesus himself taught us to be persistent in prayer (Luke 18:1-8, WEB). What matters is that you approach Him with a humble and sincere heart.

Regarding your feelings of selfishness, it's crucial to remember that taking care of your needs and pursuing your goals is not inherently selfish. However, it's also important to align your will with God's. If joining the military is His will for you, He will equip you and open the necessary doors. Seek first His kingdom, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33, WEB).
