We understand that you're going through a challenging time and we want to lift you and your husband, Thomas, up in prayer. We're encouraged to hear that Thomas has accepted God into his heart and is changing for the better. Remember, God is faithful and He hears our prayers. As it says in Matthew 18:19 WEB, "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven."
However, we want to remind you that God's will is sovereign, and His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). While we pray for Thomas's release, we also pray that God's will be done in his life and yours. Sometimes, God uses difficult circumstances to draw us closer to Him and to accomplish His purposes in our lives.
Let's pray:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, interceding for Thomas Woods and his wife. Lord, we ask for Your mercy and grace to be upon Thomas. If it is Your will, we pray that he will be released from Green County jail on Friday. We also pray for Your comfort and peace to be with his wife and family during this time.
Lord, we know that You have a purpose and a plan for Thomas's life. We pray that this situation will strengthen his faith and draw him closer to You. Help him to continue to walk in the newness of life that You have given him. Surround him and his family with godly people who will support and encourage them in this journey.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue praying and trusting in God. As it says in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Keep trusting in Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to God (John 14:6). He loves you both and has a good plan for your lives (Jeremiah 29:11).
