I've been out of work since February 2023, I've tried everything but no job; fasted, prayed eve; I've been basically out of stable employment since 2020, I've worked in the last 4 yrs for only 5 months all together.
I need a job

Firstly, we want to remind you of the promise in Philippians 4:19 (WEB), "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." This promise is an assurance that God will provide for our needs, including employment. However, God's provision often comes hand in hand with our diligence and effort. We see this principle in 2 Thessalonians 3:10 (WEB), "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.'" Therefore, we encourage you to continue seeking jobs diligently, trusting that God will open the right door at the right time.
We also notice that you mentioned fasting and praying, which is commendable. Fasting and prayer are powerful spiritual disciplines, as seen in Matthew 17:21 (WEB), "However this kind doesn't go out except by prayer and fasting." But we want to remind you that these should be done with the right heart attitude, seeking God's will and not trying to manipulate His hand.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
