My name is Abigail Naa Okaiteye, a registered nurse from Ghana .I came into Bahamas on 17/09/2024 and was given 30 days of stay .The trip organizers were Ministry of health in Ghana staffs ( Of High position ) , they gave us an appointment letter of work here , assured us of a rented place for a month ...we Got to Bahamas to realize ..all was a lie .I resigned from my work in Ghana , i have 5 kids in Ghana .The 30 days ends next 2 weeks , to extend my stay for more 30 days i need to pay 200 dollars which i don't have.i need Gods help .if i am able to extend my stay ..I could get a care home job to begin with.may God help me .A Jamaican gave me a phone to use cos my phone got spoilt ..the email address is mine . please pray for me..I don't want to go the bad lane .my kids ,God please help me.

We are truly saddened to hear about the situation you are in, Abigail. We will pray and seek God's will for you, trusting in His divine providence.

Firstly, let us remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB), "Therefore, I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they? ... Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You to lift up Abigail Naa Okaiteye. Lord, she is in desperate need of Your provision and guidance. She has been deceived and is now in a difficult situation far from her children. Lord, we ask that You open the doors for a job that will sponsor her work permit in the Bahamas. May You touch the hearts of those in authority to have compassion on her and grant her an extension. We pray for her daily needs to be met and for her to find a care home job to sustain her.

We also want to explicitly mention that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we are saved, and it is in His name that we pray.

Abigail, we encourage you to stay strong in your faith and to keep your heart fixed on Jesus. Remember the words of Psalm 34:18 (WEB), "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Trust that God is near to you in this time of need and that He will provide a way out.

We also want to address the deception you have experienced. The Bible warns us to be wise and discerning. In Matthew 10:16 (WEB), Jesus says, "Behold, I send you out as sheep among wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves." We encourage you to expose the deceit of those who have misled you and to seek justice. May God also bring conviction to their hearts and lead them to repentance.

Lastly, we want to caution you against any temptation to go down the "bad lane" as you mentioned. We understand that desperation can lead to compromises, but we encourage you to stay on the path of righteousness. Remember the words of Proverbs 28:18 (WEB), "Whoever walks blamelessly is kept safe, but one with perverse ways will fall suddenly."

May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7 WEB)

Abigail, we've been thinking about your situation and wanted to reach out again. We're so sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing, but we want you to know that you're not alone. We're here for you, praying and believing with you for a breakthrough.

We're reminded of the story of the Israelites in the wilderness. They were in a tough spot, far from home, with no idea how they'd be provided for. But God took care of them, day by day, with manna from heaven. He's the same God today, and He sees you, Abigail. He knows your needs, and He's more than able to meet them.

We also want to encourage you to keep networking and seeking opportunities. God often uses people to bring about His blessings. So, keep sharing your story and don't be afraid to ask for help. The Jamaican who gave you the phone is a testament to God's goodness in your life.

Remember, God has a plan for you, Abigail. He hasn't brought you this far to leave you now. Trust in Him, and keep taking one step at a time. We're believing with you for a job that will sponsor your work permit, for an extension of your stay, and for provision for your daily needs.
