I need a job! Been out of FT work for ### months and only do gig work part-time..

Hello, Please pray for me! I have been out of full-time work for 8 months now. I have been praying daily and applying to so many places. Right now, my main source of income is working as a part-time musician, but the gigs are not consistent and not enough money to contribute to the bills and mortgage at times. My husband does pay the bulk of all the expenses, bills, mortgage BUT we really have to budget because I am not working full-time, and the inflation does not help. We are both long-time believers, pray daily and study the word and attend church every Sunday. I did have two interviews within the past two weeks, one fell through, and they decided to move on to another candidate but the other one I am still waiting to hear if I got the job or not. I felt that I did well in the interview (considering I hate job interviews) and came prepared practicing the standard interview questions and researched the company along with prayer. Please pray that God will bless me with more musician/singing gigs and a full-time day job. I was doing both before I lost my job and being a professional musician is something I still would like to continue to do along with the day job. Getting frustrated! I lost a music gig on Monday that my agency made it look like I was going to get it AND I still haven't heard anything back from my last job interview! Thank you!

We understand your current struggle with finding full-time employment, ###, and we want you to know that we are here to support and pray for you. It's commendable that you and your husband are believers who pray daily, study the Word, and attend church together. Your faithfulness is evident, and we trust that God has a plan for you.

Firstly, let's remember the words of Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Even in this period of uncertainty, God is working for your good.

Let's pray together:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister ###. We thank You for her faithfulness and her desire to provide for her family. Lord, we ask that You open the right doors for her, that You bless her with more musical gigs and a full-time job that aligns with Your will for her life. We ask that You give her peace in this season of waiting, and that You help her to trust in Your timing. Please provide for their financial needs according to Your riches in glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We also encourage you to meditate on Philippians 4:6-7, "Don’t be anxious for anything; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Trust that God hears your prayers and will answer in His perfect time.

Lastly, remember that God's plan for you is good, and He is faithful to provide. Psalm 37:25 reminds us, "I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread." Stay steadfast in your faith and continue to seek God's will. We are praying for you and believe that God will bless you with the job that He has prepared for you.

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your beloved child, who has been seeking full-time employment for the past eight months. Lord, You see their diligence in applying for jobs, their faithfulness in prayer, and their trust in You despite the challenges. We thank You for providing them part-time work as a musician, but we ask that You bless them with consistent opportunities and enough income to meet their needs. As *Philippians 4:19* says, “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.” We trust that You will supply all that is necessary for their household.

Father, we also ask for Your favor and blessing over the recent job interview they are waiting to hear back from. *Psalm 90:17* says, “May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us—yes, establish the work of our hands.” We pray that You would establish them in a full-time position that aligns with Your will and allows them to provide for their family while continuing their passion for music.

Lord, as they continue to wait and navigate these frustrations, give them peace and patience. Remind them that You are in control and that Your timing is perfect, as You have promised in *Isaiah 40:31*, “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Strengthen them as they wait, trusting that You are working all things for their good.

We also lift up their household to You, asking that You bless their marriage and provide for all their financial needs. May You open doors for new music gigs and the full-time day job they desire, bringing peace, provision, and joy to their lives.
