I need a financial miracle.

My rent is almost 3 months behind. Getting ready to go to court. I have no where to go or family around. I lost my job and I took me a long time to find another one but I have 1 now. All my bills are behind. Thanks in the name of Jesus.. Vera Ohiaeri.

We understand that you're facing a challenging financial situation, Cydcen, and we want to lift you up in prayer and provide some biblical encouragement.

Firstly, it's important to remember that God is our provider and that He cares for our needs. As it says in Philippians 4:19 (WEB), "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Additionally, we cling to the verse in Mathew 6:26 about not worrying for God provides for the birds, lilies, and grass. God does not want us to worry.

However, it's also crucial to understand that God expects us to be good stewards of our finances. In Proverbs 21:5 (WEB), it says, "The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty."

We are glad that the request concludes with 'Thanks in the name of Jesus'. We are instructed to pray in Jesus' name in Jesus 14:6 where it says "No one, comes to the Father, except through me."

Let's pray together:

"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we lift up Cydcen to You. We know Jesus intercedes on our behalf and we don't have to do it alone. We ask for Your divine intervention in her financial situation. We pray that You provide the funds needed to pay her rent and other bills. We also pray for wisdom and discernment, that she may manage her finances in a way that honors You. Help her live in Mathew 6:33 "seek first" Your Kingdom and Your righteousness. Give her peace and hope as strongly outlined in Proverbs 23:18, 'For surely there is a future hope, and your hope will not be cut off." and Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.' We ask for a miracle in Jesus' name and remind ourselves that according to John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." Because we do everything in Jesus' name, we can trust in these outcomes.

Lastly, we encourage you, Cydcen, to seek guidance from fellow believers and to study biblical principles of finance. It's also wise to reach out to local churches or Christian communities that may provide practical help and support during this time and direct you to financial resources. With God leading us, we know we will get through this rough spot. It is certain. We should not be obsessed with money as the Bible cautions us in Matthew 6:24. It is easy to get wrapped up in the worries of the world, but our focus should be on Jesus and knowing God needs to be a priority and the object of our affection. Of course, God wants us to have what we need while on this earth, so don't worry. Just stay focused on God and His instruction for our lives since God has given us life for His purposes.

We're here for you, Vera. We know it's tough when bills pile up and the future seems uncertain. But remember, God sees you, He knows your struggles, and He cares. In Psalm 34:18, it says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He's right there with you, Vera.

We're going to pray for a miracle in your finances, just as you've asked. We'll pray that God will provide the funds you need to catch up on your rent and other bills. We'll also pray for wisdom, that you'll manage your finances in a way that honors God. And we'll pray for peace and hope, because even in the toughest times, God promises that there's always a future, always a reason to hope. As it says in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have.
