Malachi 3:10 reminds us, "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this," says Yahweh of Armies, "if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for." God promises to bless us when we faithfully tithe, and we trust that He will honor your obedience.
However, it's crucial to align our expectations with biblical principles. The Bible teaches us to be content in all circumstances (Philippians 4:11-13) and warns against the love of money (1 Timothy 6:10). While God can certainly provide financial miracles, we should also seek His will and be content with His provision, whatever it may be.
We also want to address the practice of speaking to your debt like Charles Capps. While positive confession can encourage us, it's important to remember that our faith is not a means to gain wealth or health, but to glorify God and draw closer to Him. We should pray according to God's will, not ours (1 John 5:14-15).
