I miss my friend!!

Dear Jesus, I miss my friend with all my heart!

It’s been such a long time since we lost touch and were cut off. It really breaks my heart!

My heart weeps inside with pain from the love I feel to this very day that just won’t quit.

Oh LORD, I can’t just turn off the love in my heart!

My friend was the joy of my life, next to You, dear LORD! Now all I feel is pain. Pain of missing someone.



Oh Jesus, can You fix this? Can You bring my friend back? Can you undo what the enemy has done? I plead with you oh God, I implore Yoy to repair the breach!

Due to circumstances beyond my control it is impossible for me to do so. All communications are lost. I no longer even have a phone number or address!! It’s now humanly impossible.

LORD, you see the tears in my eyes. You know how much this hurts. I not only have lost my friend, but many others of my closest friends, dear, sweet brothers in Christ Jesus have passed away recently leaving me bereft.

But I turn to YOU, oh LORD, the glory and lighter of my head. My COVENANT GOD, who lifts my head when it is bowed low. You are the covenant keeper, oh LORD! Your mercy and Your tender kindness endures forever!

Please touch this situation I find myself in, O God my redeemer! Please restore to me what has been lost, of fellowship, companionship and joy. Please bring back my friend and make what we had seven times better! Seven times sweeter, seven times stronger, in Jesus name!

Firstly, we want to assure you that God hears your cries and understands your pain. As it is written in Psalm 147:3 (WEB), "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." And in Psalm 34:18 (WEB), "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

However, we must also remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). While you have asked for the restoration of your friendship, we must submit to God's will, knowing that He has a plan and a purpose for every season in our lives.

We must also be cautious of our desires, ensuring they align with God's will. The Bible tells us to guard our hearts, as everything we do flows from it (Proverbs 4:23, WEB). It's crucial to examine our hearts and ensure that our desires are pure and aligned with God's will.

Let us pray for you:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister who is hurting from the loss of friends and the separation from a dear friend. Lord, we ask for Your comfort and peace to fill their heart. We ask that Your will be done in this situation, and if it is according to Your plan, restore the friendship that has been lost. Help them to trust in You, knowing that You have a purpose and a plan for every season in their life.

Lord Jesus, we also pray that You would help them to examine their heart, ensuring that their desires align with Your will. Help them to guard their heart, knowing that everything they do flows from it.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that He has a plan and a purpose for your life. As it is written in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Keep your hope in Him, and He will see you through this difficult time.
