Dear One, we understand the depth of your feelings, but let us first align our hearts with God's Word. The term "soulmate" is not a biblical concept, and we must be cautious not to elevate human relationships above our relationship with God. The Bible tells us, "Donโt be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB).
It's crucial to discern if this man is a believer in Jesus Christ, as this is the foundation of any godly relationship. We should not be pursuing relationships that distract us from our walk with the Lord. If you have not mentioned Jesus Christ in your request, we encourage you to reflect on your personal relationship with Him, as it is through His name that we are saved and have access to God (Acts 4:12).
We will pray that God's will be done in your life and that He guides your path. If this man is indeed intended for you, trust that God, in His perfect timing, will bring him back. But also trust that if he is not, God has someone better in store, or a season of growth and intimacy with Himself.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this dear sister who feels a strong connection with someone she believes could be a significant part of her life. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done. If this man is indeed the one You have chosen for her, we pray that You soften his heart and bring them together in Your perfect timing. However, if he is not, we ask that You give her the strength and grace to accept this and continue to trust in You.
Father, we also pray that this sister grows closer to You during this time. Help her to seek Your face and find comfort in Your presence. Surround her with godly counsel and friends who will encourage her in her walk with You.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
Take heart, dear sister, knowing that God loves you deeply and has the best plans for your life (Jeremiah 29:11). Trust in Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6). If you have not already, we encourage you to commit your life fully to Jesus Christ and seek Him first in all things (Matthew 6:33).
