Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Jose Luis Mendoza Jr. Lord, we thank You for Jose's newfound faith in You. Your Word tells us in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." We rejoice in Jose's transformation and his decision to follow You.
Father, Jose is experiencing severe pain and anguish, and the doctors have not been able to diagnose his condition. We know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. Your Word in Jeremiah 17:14 says, "Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for You are my praise." We stand on this promise and ask for Your divine healing touch upon Jose's body.
Lord, we also recognize that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). We ask for Your protection over Jose, and we plead the blood of Jesus over him. We pray that any form of evil or witchcraft that has come against him be broken in the name of Jesus. Your Word declares in Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn." We claim this promise for Jose right now.
Father, we ask that You grant Jose peace and comfort during this difficult time. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." May Your peace envelop Jose and guard his heart and mind.
Lord, we pray for wisdom and discernment for the medical professionals attending to Jose. Guide their hands and minds to find the cause of his illness and to treat it effectively. We trust in Your timing and Your will, knowing that You work all things for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your unfailing love and mercy. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
