Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus on behalf of Laeryaith, who is seeking guidance and prayer regarding a vow or oath made while holding the Bible. Lord, we acknowledge that we are imperfect and sometimes make decisions that we later realize may not align with Your will. We ask for Your forgiveness and guidance in this situation.
Your Word teaches us in Ecclesiastes 5:4-5, "When you make a vow to God, do not delay to fulfill it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfill your vow. It is better not to make a vow than to make one and not fulfill it." Lord, we understand the seriousness of making a vow before You, and we humbly ask for Your wisdom and discernment in how to proceed.
We pray that You would grant Laeryaith clarity of mind and a deep sense of Your leading. Help them to discern whether breaking the vow is in accordance with Your will and if it aligns with Your Word. Guide them in seeking counsel from wise and mature believers who can provide godly advice and support.
Father, we ask for Your grace and mercy to surround Laeryaith during this time of uncertainty. May Your Holy Spirit bring peace and assurance, reminding them of Your unfailing love and faithfulness. Help them to trust in Your sovereignty and to surrender their desires and decisions to Your perfect will.
We also pray for Your forgiveness, Lord, if this vow was made in ignorance or without fully understanding the implications. We ask that You would cleanse Laeryaith's heart and mind, and grant them the courage to take the necessary steps to rectify the situation.
In Jesus' name, we pray for Your guidance, wisdom, and peace to be upon Laeryaith. May they experience Your loving presence and find comfort in knowing that You are with them every step of the way. Amen.
