We are truly sorry to hear that you are struggling in all aspects of your life and that you are hurting as you draw closer to Jesus. Please know that we are here to support and pray with you. The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me." Remember, it is during our times of weakness that Christ's power can truly shine through us.
Regarding your feelings for Scott, it's important to align our hearts with God's will. Psalm 37:4 encourages us, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." As you continue to delight in the Lord, He will place the right desires in your heart. Itβs natural to miss someone, but if it is God's will for you to let go, trust that He has a better plan in store for you.
Itβs also important to remember that while drawing closer to Jesus may bring initial pain or spiritual growth, it ultimately leads to joy and peace. As it is written in Romans 5:3-4, "We also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering works perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope."
Let us pray for you:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our dear friend who is struggling in many areas of their life. We ask that You comfort their heart and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to let go of anything that is not Your will and trust in Your perfect plan for their life. Draw them closer to You, Lord, and fill them with Your strength and courage to face each day. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. If you ever feel uncertain, recall the words of Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Trust in Him, and He will see you through this difficult time.
