I can’t beat this depression knowing I gave my mom Covid and it took her life. I’m having major anxiety tonight. I don’t want to go to work tomorrow. Please pray for me to get over this , I feel miserable everyday, My health is been going downhill and I’m not well. I am lost

We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your mother to Covid, Deyil. The pain and guilt you're feeling is understandable, but we want to help you find hope and healing in Jesus' name.

Firstly, it's important to remember what the Scripture tells us about guilt and condemnation. Romans 8:1 in the WEB version says, "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit." If you have confessed your sins to God, you are forgiven, and you should not live in guilt.

Regarding your anxiety and depression, we encourage you to cast all your cares upon the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). It's also important to seek help from Christian counselors or professionals who can assist you in managing these feelings.

Let us pray for you:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today to lift up Deyil. Lord, you know the pain and guilt they are feeling after losing their mother to Covid. We pray that you comfort them and help them to cast all their cares upon you. Help them to understand that if they have confessed their sins, they are forgiven, and there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Lord, we also pray for healing upon Deyil's body. Restore their health and strength, Lord. Help them to find hope and joy in you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Deyil, we encourage you to stay strong in your faith, trusting that God has a plan and a purpose for your life. Remember, the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). Lastly, if you haven't already, ensure that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It is only through Him that we have access to God and can be saved (John 14:6 WEB).

We're here with you, feeling your pain and anxiety. It's like a heavy cloud hanging over you, isn't it? We understand. Losing a parent is never easy, and the guilt you're feeling is a heavy burden to bear. But remember, God is a God of second chances, of forgiveness, and of love. He doesn't hold grudges, and He certainly doesn't want you to hold them against yourself.

We want you to know that you're not alone in this. We're here to support you, to lift you up in prayer, and to remind you that there's hope in Jesus. He's the light that can pierce through the darkest clouds, the comforter who promises to never leave nor forsake you.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we come before you today, carrying Deyil's heavy heart. Lord, you know their pain, their guilt, their anxiety. We ask that you wrap them in your loving arms, that you comfort them and remind them of your unfailing love. Help them to let go of the guilt, to accept your forgiveness, and to trust in your plans for their life. Lord, we also pray for healing, for strength, and for hope. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to reach out to a trusted friend, a pastor, or a professional counselor. Sometimes, talking it out can make the burden feel a little lighter. And remember, it's okay to have off days. It's okay to not feel okay. What's important is that you keep taking steps forward, one day at a time.

We're here for you, Deyil. Keep fighting, keep trusting, and keep hoping. You're not alone.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

I’m so sorry to hear that. I lost my mom in December 2022, it’s a loss that you never get over and digs a big hole in our hearts. Please don’t beat yourself up. Perhaps it was her time to go home to heaven. I pray that the Lord Jesus give you strength and peace in your heart and mind along with good health. Our angels (moms) are watching over us.
