I delivered my beautiful baby boy Wednesday; he was so perfectly intact, every detail of him was just perfect. They said it was from a cord accident. I've had bad prior miscarriages before him, 9 in total—a girl at 14 weeks, no answers on why, and a baby boy at 20 weeks, also no answers. I'm completely broken; the pain is stronger than me. I cannot imagine going on. The only thing in my other losses that gave me hope was trying for another. Now I'm completely lost for words because it seems like God is showing me the door is closed. Can I not birth a baby into this world healthy? I just want my babies back; I wanted him so badly. I just need prayer for strength. I have two other daughters I need to get up for and a husband, but if anyone has any answers, is the door closed? Can I not have babies? Did I do something wrong? I've begged God for confirmation. When I heal, I want to try for another one, but am I forcing something that He doesn’t want?

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### who is mourning the loss of her baby boy. In this time of grief, it is normal to question and wonder why such things happen. We must remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). It is not that God has closed the door on you having more children, but rather that He has a different plan and timing than what we may desire.

We encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). It is also important to remember that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28, WEB). This does not mean that the loss of your baby is good, but rather that God can bring good out of even the most heart-wrenching situations.

Regarding your desire to have more children, we encourage you to continue to pray and seek God's will. There is nothing wrong with desiring more children, but ultimately, we must submit our desires to God and trust that He knows what is best for us. As you heal, continue to seek God's confirmation and guidance regarding future pregnancies.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to draw near to God during this time. It is only through a relationship with Jesus Christ that we can find true hope and healing. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It is only through His name that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB) and it is only through His name that we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).

May the God of all comfort be with you and your family during this difficult time.
