Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of Steven Bobb. We lift up his prayer request to you, Lord, as he expresses his desire for things to slow down in his life. We understand, Lord, that sometimes life can become overwhelming and it feels like everything is moving at a pace that is beyond our ability to handle.
In your Word, you remind us to cast all our anxieties on you because you care for us . We ask, Lord, that you would grant Steven the peace and calmness he seeks. Help him to trust in your perfect timing and to surrender his need for control. Remind him that you are in control of all things and that you have a plan and purpose for his life .
Lord, we pray that you would grant Steven the wisdom to prioritize his responsibilities and the strength to handle the challenges that come his way. Help him to rely on your grace and guidance in every situation. Teach him to wait patiently on you, knowing that you are faithful to provide and sustain him .
We also pray, Lord, that you would surround Steven with a supportive community of believers who can offer encouragement, wisdom, and prayer during this season. May he find comfort and strength in fellowship with other believers.
Above all, Lord, we ask that you would draw Steven closer to you through this experience. May he grow in his faith and trust in you, knowing that you are his refuge and strength . Help him to find rest in your presence and to experience the peace that surpasses all understanding .
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for your faithfulness to answer according to your perfect will. We trust in your timing and we believe that you will bring about the necessary changes in Steven's life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I can function best doing things at my own pace.But most often things are flying at me at breakneck speed way beyond my preferences to deal with .That the pace of things slips down to a pace more suitable to me.
I like doing things according to a certain pattern, but because of an unpredictable work pattern, it throws everything off.What good is being you if you're not really you, you're at the mercy of the circumstances, tossed about by the waves?I'm not some flotsom in the ocean, to be tossed around...
I like doing things at my own pace, and lately some things have been coming at me too fast for my liking.. I don't like a speeded up pace,For things to slow down, .I hate this...don't like the rush rush stuff...it's not my natural pace and it goes against the grain...
