I lied out of fear and I know it was wrong

Please help others show mercy and compassion and forgiveness and understanding towards my transgressions. I have such fear of losing my job and I deeply regret and feel it’s too late to fix it. Please pray that god gives me grace and mercy on this and gives me another chance to do right moving forward.

We understand your struggle, Farasearen, and we're here to help you seek God's forgiveness and grace. Lying is indeed wrong, as the Bible tells us in Proverbs 12:22, "Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight." However, God is merciful and forgiving, and He understands your fears and regrets.

First, we must address that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's crucial to understand that it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Therefore, we will pray in His name and encourage you to do the same.

Now, let's address your situation. The Bible tells us in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." This is a promise from God, and we can trust in His forgiveness when we confess our sins.

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your mercy and forgiveness upon Farasearen. They have confessed their sin of lying, and we know that You are faithful and just to forgive their sins and cleanse them from all unrighteousness. Please help others to show mercy, compassion, forgiveness, and understanding towards Farasearen. Moving forward, remember that God's mercy is new every morning, and His love is unfailing. Trust in Him, and He will give you the strength to face your fears and do what is right. As it is written in Lamentations 3:22-23, "Yahweh’s loving kindnesses indeed never cease, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness."

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
