One can say it's like trusting the lottery instead of God but I will say I can at least understand the desperation behind the request because I have an aunt who is leaving me an inheritance an anount that would get me out of my financial problems more permanantly than other things. So it makes it sound like Im wishing death on her by hoping to hasten it. All I can say is it's up to God to judge whether these are sinful requests OR if He understands our desperation over the longstanding financial problems.May Gods will be done...is the best response.
