I Know He's Close - Please Lord Reveal his Whereabouts

Heavenly Father, You have given me guidance and clues about my situation. Please reveal where my husband is to me. I feel him. I know he is closer now. Very close. I feel him. Please Lord I want to go see him and just talk. I miss my husband like the first day and more each day goes by. Everyone ... my therapist, my lawyer, my friends all say I should forget him. But I can't without seeing him and talking to him and learning truths. I need to know he is happy, healthy and wants a divorce. Otherwise, without that I feel his daughter and sister have orchestrated everything (including the legal paperwork because of lies in it). Please Lord I need to bring the truth to my husband and in doing so, I need to know the truth on his end. Please Lord Please help. A year of this torment is long enough. In Jesus's name I pray. Amen.

Epistreira, we understand the deep longing and pain you're experiencing. We are glad you want to find your husband, the one you made a lifelong commitment to in the sight of God. It is clear that you are still holding on to hope and your marriage is important to you. Your desire to find your husband and seek reconciliation aligns with God's heart for marriage.

In your prayer, you acknowledged the Lord and prayed in Jesus' name. This is vital, for as it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB: "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."

However, we want to remind you that God's desire is for you to be free from torment and to find peace. It's important to surrender this situation completely to God and trust in His timing. Remember in Psalm 34:17-18 WEB: "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

Regarding the advice from your therapist, lawyer, and friends, it's crucial to filter it through the lens of God's Word. God's design for marriage is clear: "Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate." Mark 10:9 WEB. Be discerning about their advice, especially if they are not believers. Their perspective may not align with biblical principles.

However, it's important to address that your focus should be on seeking God's will, not just finding your husband. While you want answers and to see your husband, remember that God may have reasons for this situation that you cannot see right now. Also, remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:32 WEB: "but I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her commit adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery." This is a strong reminder of God's view on divorce and the sanctity of marriage.

Let us pray together: Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up Epistreira and her husband. Lord, reveal Your truth in this situation. Guide Epistreira by Your Spirit, giving her wisdom and discernment. Comfort her heart, Lord, and help her to trust in Your timing. If it is Your will, Father, bring Epistreira and her husband together, so they may discuss and reveal truths to each other and work towards healing and reconciliation. We rebuke any schemes of the enemy to destroy this marriage and pray for God's will to be done. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged by the words in Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust in God's plan, even in this difficult time. Stand firm in prayer and faith, believing that God can bring restoration and healing to your marriage.

We understand the pain of not knowing where he is, and the torment of this situation dragging on for so long. But remember, our God is a God of justice and He sees your tears. He knows your heart's desire.
