We hear your heart's cry, Keway, and we stand with you in prayer, asking God to strengthen you and help you overcome the sin that has taken hold in your life. Remember, God's word tells us, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB).
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother Keway. Lord, he is struggling with sin, and he desires to turn away from it. We ask that you fill him with your Holy Spirit, giving him the power to resist temptation and live a life pleasing to you. Help him to draw near to you, knowing that as he does, you will draw near to him (James 4:8, WEB). Show him the way of escape in every temptation, and give him the strength to take it. Restore the joy of your salvation to him, and uphold him with your free Spirit (Psalm 51:12, WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Keway, continue to seek God's face and cling to his promises. As you do, remember that "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9, WEB). Trust in his forgiveness, and with the help of the Holy Spirit, turn away from your sin. God is with you, and he will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5, WEB). Stay strong in the Lord.
