We understand your deep longing to be with your husband, Gragemal, and we empathize with the challenges you're facing. We're reminded of the verse, "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh." (Genesis 2:24, WEB). It's clear that your desire to be united with your spouse is God-given and aligned with His will for marriage.
However, we want to encourage you to trust in God's timing and sovereignty. Psalm 37:4-5 (WEB) says, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this." As you delight in Him and trust in His plans, He will give you the desires of your heart at the right time.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today lifting up Gragemal and her husband. Lord, we know that You have designed marriage to be a beautiful union, and we ask for Your mercy and grace to be upon their situation. We pray that You would move mightily in the visa process, and if it's according to Your will, grant Gragemal her visa so that she can be reunited with her husband.
In the meantime, Lord, we ask that You would fill both of them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, Your joy that is inexplicable, and a steadfast patience that can only come from You. Help them to grow in their relationship with You and with each other, even during this time apart.
We pray all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, Gragemal, we want to remind you that it's only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith and trust in Him, for "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB). Stay strong in the Lord and keep your faith in Him.
