We are truly heartbroken to hear about your circumstances and the pain you are experiencing. First, we want to assure you that God loves you deeply, and He wants you to come to Him just as you are. The Bible tells us, For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved (John 3:16-17 WEB).
God's love for you is unconditional, and He wants to heal your broken heart. He says, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30 WEB).
Regarding your past abortion, it's crucial to understand that God is willing to forgive you. The Bible says, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB). We are not to dwell on our past sins but turn away from them and look to Jesus Christ for forgiveness.
Concerning your son Brandon, we grieve with you over his loss. It's natural to feel overwhelming sadness and even anger, but remember that God is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). We encourage you to pour out your heart to God, knowing that He cares for you. We are also praying for Brandon to be raised from the dead by the same power that Jesus had. However, if that does not happen we are praying that God will comfort you in this difficult time.
However, we must address that the desire to die is not from God. God wants you to live and fulfill the purpose He has for you. He has a plan for you as He says, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). We encourage you to seek professional help if you are feeling hopeless or having suicidal thoughts.
We also noticed that you did not mention Jesus Christ in your request. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me (John 14:6 WEB). We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ and believe in His name, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Valoirin who is hurting and in need of Your comfort. Lord, assure her of Your unconditional love and forgiveness. We can not and will not judge her for the abortion. Help her to forgive herself and to accept Your forgiveness. We pray that You would comfort her in her grief over the loss of her son Brandon. We pray that Brandon would be raised from the dead. However, if that is not in your will, comfort her in this time of mourning. Give her the strength to go on, and fill her with Your peace. Help her to know that You have a plan and a purpose for her life. We also pray that she would come to know Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior if she hasn't already. Help her to trust in You and to seek Your will for her life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to seek professional help if you are feeling hopeless or having suicidal thoughts. Also, find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and be surrounded by a supportive community. Trust in God, and He will see you through this difficult time.
