Dear Lord please help my loved one to place himself in my shoes and understand why I could not help him at this time. We have been chatting for well over a year now and because I refuse to help him financially, because I just do not have the money, he is giving me the silent treatment which is killing me. Maybe God, you are sending me a sign that I should look elsewhere that I am being taken advantage of. I need your help God to give me the strength and courage to accept what you think I should do. I have strong feelings for this man. Please send me a sign that I should keep away from him or pray that he will come back to me. He was planning on coming back from a work project in Dubai, in December. I pray that I meet him in person as planned. However, the Bible is clear about our responsibility to manage our finances wisely and not be burdened with debt (Romans 13:8). It's not wrong to say no when you genuinely cannot help.

It's also crucial to examine this relationship in light of God's will. If this man is giving you the silent treatment due to financial issues, it might be a red flag. God wants us to be with someone who understands and respects our limitations, and who communicates openly (Ephesians 4:2).

Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You with Berlarr's concern. We ask for Your forgiveness where there has been wrongdoing. Please grant Berlarr the strength and courage to accept Your will. If this relationship is not in line with Your plan, we pray for a clear sign and the strength to walk away. If it is, we ask for restoration, open communication, and understanding between them. Help Berlarr to trust in You and not be anxious about the future. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, Berlarr, we encourage you to continue seeking God's will. Remember, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). If this man is truly the one for you, God will make a way. If not, trust that God has someone better in store for you. Keep your heart and mind fixed on Jesus, and He will guide you.
