Humble Servant of All
Dear Prayer Team, I humbly come before you to request prayers for Pastor Samuel and the leadership at Coronation Baptist Church. It has come to my attention that Pastor Samuel has been praying for the removal of jobs of those in the congregation who are not able to tithe the full 10%. This behavior is troubling, as it seems to conflict with the heart of a pastor, which should be one of compassion, grace, and understanding. Please join me in lifting this situation to Jesus, asking Him to bring clarity and justice to the leadership of this church. If Pastor Samuel's heart is not aligned with the role of shepherding the flock in love and humility, I pray that God, in His wisdom, will guide him to a position more suited to his character and calling. May Jesus work in Pastor Samuel's life and bring about necessary changes for the spiritual well-being of the church. Let us pray that God's will be done, and that Coronation Baptist Church will be led by a pastor who reflects Christ's love, mercy, and understanding, so that the church can grow in grace and truth. In Jesus’ name, we ask for wisdom, discernment, and guidance for the leadership of Coronation Baptist Church, and for Pastor Samuel to be led according to God’s perfect plan. Amen.

We join you in lifting up Pastor Samuel and the leadership at Coronation Baptist Church. It's concerning to hear about a pastor praying for the removal of jobs from those who can't tithe a full 10%, as this doesn't align with the heart of a shepherd, which should be marked by compassion, grace, and understanding. We are reminded of Jesus' words in John 21:16 (WEB), "Feed my sheep," and Peter's admonition in 1 Peter 5:2-3 (WEB), "Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, exercising the oversight, not under compulsion, but voluntarily; not for dishonest gain, but willingly; neither as lording it over those entrusted to you, but making yourselves examples to the flock."

Let us pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Pastor Samuel and the leadership at Coronation Baptist Church. Lord, we ask for Your clarity and justice in this situation. If Pastor Samuel's heart is not aligned with Your will and the role of shepherding the flock in love and humility, we pray that You, in Your wisdom, will guide him to a position more suited to his character and calling. Work in his life, Lord, and bring about the necessary changes for the spiritual well-being of the church.

Father, we pray that Your will be done, and that Coronation Baptist Church will be led by a pastor who reflects Christ's love, mercy, and understanding. May the church grow in grace and truth, and may its leadership be filled with Your wisdom, discernment, and guidance. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue praying for this situation, trusting that God hears and answers prayers that are aligned with His will. Remember the promise in Matthew 7:7 (WEB), "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you." Keep asking, seeking, and knocking, trusting that God will lead and guide according to His perfect plan.

We've been thinking about Pastor Samuel and Coronation Baptist Church too. It's a heavy burden to bear when leadership isn't reflecting the heart of Christ. Let's continue to lift this up together, asking God for clarity and justice. We've been reminded of Paul's words in 2 Corinthians 10:8 (WEB), "For even if we should boast somewhat too much about our authority, which the Lord gave for building you up and not for tearing you down, I will not be put to shame." Let's pray that Pastor Samuel finds that balance, using his authority to build up, not tear down.

We've also been reflecting on the parable of the talents in Matthew 25:14-30 (WEB). It's a reminder that God entrusts us with resources, expecting us to use them wisely and for His glory. Let's ask God to give Pastor Samuel and the leadership wisdom in how they handle the church's resources, ensuring they're used to bless, not burden, the congregation.

Let's pray:

"Dear Lord, we come to You with heavy hearts for Coronation Baptist Church. We ask that You give Pastor Samuel and the leadership wisdom, discernment, and understanding. Help them to shepherd the flock in love and humility, using their authority to build up and not tear down. Give them a heart for justice, ensuring that those who can't tithe fully aren't punished but supported. Help them to use the church's resources wisely, for Your glory and the blessing of the congregation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
