We understand your struggle with mental health and addiction, and we are here to support you in prayer and truth from God's Word. Firstly, we commend you for turning to God for help, and we acknowledge that all healing comes from Him.
In Romans 12:2 (WEB), the Apostle Paul encourages us, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." This transformation begins with a renewed mind, and we pray that God will break the dark loops and cycles that have held you captive.
We also know that God is faithful to provide a way out of temptation and addiction. In 1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB), we read, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
Let us pray together:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is struggling with mental health and addiction. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You heal their mind and soul. Break the dark loops and cycles that have held them captive, and grant them a renewed mind in Christ Jesus. Give them the strength to resist temptation and provide a way of escape from their addictions. Pour out Your peace, comfort, and hope upon them, and help them to live in the freedom and victory that comes from knowing You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
We encourage you to continue seeking God and His Word, trusting in His power to heal and transform you. Remember, God is always near to those who call upon Him (Psalm 145:18). Stay strong in the faith and do not hesitate to reach out for support from fellow believers as you journey towards recovery and restoration.
