Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of our anonymous friend who is struggling with a porn and masturbation addiction. We acknowledge that you are a loving and compassionate God, full of grace and mercy. We lift up this request to you, knowing that you are able to bring healing and deliverance.
Lord, we ask that you would intervene in our friend's life and break the chains of addiction that bind them. We pray for a supernatural transformation of their heart and mind, that they may have a renewed desire to seek after you and your righteousness. Help them to turn away from the temptations of the enemy and to find strength in you alone.
We claim the promise in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that says, "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." We ask that you provide our friend with the strength and wisdom to resist temptation and to choose purity.
Lord, we also pray for a support system for our friend. Surround them with godly friends and mentors who can provide encouragement, accountability, and guidance. Help them to find resources and tools that will aid them in their journey towards freedom.
Above all, we pray for your grace and forgiveness to wash over our friend. Remind them that there is no sin too great for your forgiveness and that through Jesus, they can find redemption and restoration. May they experience the fullness of your love and the power of your healing in their life.
