I hear Christians say, when asked about people doing wrong, and sometimes to others that we have free will. But I have a dispute with free will...meaning, it seems to benefit one side more than another. Like, if someone wrongs another, God is allowing them the "free will" to do that. But what of the victim? I'm sure it wasn't the victim's "will" to have their daughter raped, etc. It seems that free will benefits the one side more than the other. (and it's usually the side of the wrongdoers over the victim.
Unfortunately, there's some people who abuse free-will. Free-will without divine altruism leads to injustice.
Free will is something that requires maturity and responsibility. Without free will, one is no better than a robot. Under this scenario, a person without free-will can only do what he has been programmed to do. He can not be held accountable for any injustice or sin because he would have no conscious intent to do harm but only to fulfill a preset task offered by a program. That is one of the reasons free-will is so precious.
God did not create us to be robots but to have free-will. We have been created more sophisticated than anything else on earth. We are body, soul, and spirit. We have direct communication to God. We have awareness and free-will. Love, respect, and responsibility should always accompany free-will. Yes, we are accountable for our actions, including the ones who choose to do evil towards others. They will be held accountable. They have corrupted their heavenly gift of free-will. Adam and Eve had free-will and chose to abuse it through selfishness. It wasn't God who made them sin. It was them!
God has given us free-will but also He has given us Divine altruistic respect for us to negotiate around our freedoms. This includes obedience to our Father. They go hand in hand.
Ultimately, man will be judged by our Father.
