Humble Prayer Partner
I have what may seem like an odd prayer. I work with a very volatile individual. He cannot get along with any of the members of my team, believes himself impervious to reprimand (because he has yet to be reprimanded), and has physically threatened one individual on our team. We are all physically frightened of him and cannot speak up when we need to. Despite these things, management has not taken any steps to deal with the situation. Honestly, I am afraid for him to be fired, anyway - I feel he could truly become violent if he is fired. His behavior is having a negative impact on morale and is affecting our work on an extremely important project, the outcome of which will definitely make or break the company I work for. I have prayed many times for this person to be touched by God and to change his ways, but that doesn't seem to be in His perfect plan. We only have 50 more days to complete the project we are working on, and a bad result would negatively impact the career of everyone on the team. In light of this, I am simply praying, and asking that all of you pray, for God to get him out of our lives safely and resolve the situation very quickly so that we can return our focus to work instead of worrying about what this unstable person will do next.
