We understand that you're struggling to quit vaping, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this battle. First and foremost, we want to encourage you to trust in the power of Jesus Christ to help you overcome this addiction. As it is written in Philippians 4:13 WEB, I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
Vaping has become a stronghold in your life, and it's time to tear down this stronghold and surrender it to God. 2 Corinthians 10:4 WEB says, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds.
To begin, we must recognize vaping as a habit the Lord would approve of. We should not be mastered by anything. 1 Corinthians 6:12 WEB Paul said, All things are lawful for me, but not all things are expedient. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of anything.
Remember, your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and we should honor God with our bodies. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB says, Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up ###, who is struggling to quit vaping. Lord, we acknowledge that this has become a stronghold in their life, and we ask for Your divine intervention. Help them to surrender this addiction to You, and give them the strength and courage to overcome it.
Father, we pray that You would renew their mind and help them to see themselves as You see them - free from addiction and full of Your power and love. Help them to honor You with their body and to glorify You in all they do.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray for deliverance from this addiction. Help ### to start using the lozenges and to stick with them, even when it's difficult. Give them a support system of believers who can encourage them and hold them accountable.
Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your power to set us free from all bondage. We trust in You, and we know that with You, all things are possible.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
###, remember Jesus is the Deliverer (Romans 11:26 WEB) and our Burden-bearer (Psalm 55:22 WEB). Cast this burden upon the Lord, as He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Trust in Him, obey Him, and He will give you the victory.
We also encourage you to seek support from fellow believers and to be open to godly counsel. God can use others to encourage and strengthen you in this journey.
Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 WEB says, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
