Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend who is struggling with a UTI. Lord, You are our Healer and our Comforter. We ask that You would touch their body and bring complete healing and recovery. As they have started antibiotics, we pray that these medications would be effective and that their symptoms would improve swiftly.
Lord, we also ask for Your peace to fill their heart and mind, alleviating any anxiety and worry. Your Word says in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We claim this promise for our friend, trusting that Your peace will guard their heart and mind.
We commit their health into Your hands, believing that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to Your power that is at work within us . Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. In Jesus' name, Amen.
