Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, interceding on behalf of our dear anonymous friend who is struggling with alcohol addiction. Lord, we acknowledge that you are a God of redemption and restoration, and we believe that nothing is impossible for you.
Father, we lift up our friend who has recently started drinking again after ten years of sobriety. We pray for your divine intervention in their life. We ask that you would break the chains of addiction and set them free from the bondage of alcohol. Fill them with your Holy Spirit, giving them the strength and determination to resist the temptations that come their way.
Lord, we pray for healing and restoration in their relationships. We ask for forgiveness for the pain and hurt they have caused their loved ones. May your love and grace flow through them, bringing healing and reconciliation to their relationships. Help them to rebuild trust and mend the brokenness that has occurred.
We also pray for the damage that has been done as a result of their drinking. Lord, we know that you are a God of restoration and redemption. We ask that you would bring healing and restoration to every area of their life that has been affected by their addiction. Provide them with the resources and support they need to rebuild their life and make amends for the past.
Father, we thank you for your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust in your power to bring about transformation and healing in our friend's life. May they experience your grace and mercy in abundance as they surrender their struggles to you.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
