Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our anonymous friend who is facing challenges with stammering. We pray for comfort and strength during this difficult time. Your Word reminds us that nothing is impossible for you, and we believe that you can work miracles in our lives.
Lord, we ask that you grant our friend the confidence and courage to pursue their calling to become a Catholic priest. We pray that you would remove any doubts or fears caused by stammering and replace them with your peace and assurance. Help them to trust in your plan for their life and to know that you have equipped them for the work you have called them to do.
In your Word, you have shown us that you can use even the most unlikely individuals for your purposes. We think of Moses, who had a speech impediment, yet you used him mightily to lead your people out of Egypt. We ask that you would do the same for our friend. Strengthen their speech and grant them the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
We also pray for the seminary that rejected our friend. Soften their hearts and open their eyes to see the potential and calling that you have placed on our friend's life. May they come to understand that it is not by our own strength or abilities, but by your grace and power that we are able to fulfill our calling.
Lord, we trust in your perfect timing and your divine plan. We ask that you guide our friend's steps as they continue their studies at the university. Provide them with mentors and opportunities to grow in their faith and knowledge of you. Surround them with a supportive community that will encourage and uplift them.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness. We believe that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. We commit our friend's desire to become a Catholic priest into your hands, knowing that you are able to make a way where there seems to be no way.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May God bless you and guide you on your journey, dear friend.
