Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother or sister who is suffering from pain in their right leg and hip, and who is burdened with PTSD, chronic shame, and feelings of unworthiness. Lord, You are the Great Healer, and we ask for Your healing touch upon their body, mind, and spirit.
Your Word says in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We pray that You would heal the deep wounds caused by the trauma of sexual assault and bring comfort to their heart. Lord, replace their anger with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as promised in Philippians 4:7.
Jesus, You said in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." We ask that You would give our brother or sister rest from their pain and emotional turmoil. Fill them with a sense of Your love and worthiness, reminding them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made .
Lord, we pray for Your peace to reign in their heart. Speak to the storms within them and say, "Peace, be still" . May they feel Your presence and know that they are not alone, for You are with them always, even to the end of the age .
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
