Dear Lord Jesus,
We come before You tonight with nine prayer requests. We ask that You would grant us Your peace and guidance as we seek Your will in all of our requests.
First, we ask that You would grant us wisdom and discernment to make wise decisions. Help us to seek Your will in all that we do.
Second, we ask that You would provide us with the resources we need to accomplish our goals. Help us to use our resources wisely and to be generous with what You have given us.
Third, we ask that You would protect us from all harm and danger. Keep us safe from all evil and help us to trust in You.
Fourth, we ask that You would grant us good health and strength. Help us to take care of our bodies and to use our energy wisely.
Fifth, we ask that You would grant us joy and contentment in our lives. Help us to find joy in all that You have given us.
Sixth, we ask that You would grant us patience and understanding. Help us to be patient with ourselves and with others.
Seventh, we ask that You would grant us the courage to face our fears and to take risks. Help us to trust in You and to take steps of faith.
Eighth, we ask that You would grant us favor with those around us. Help us to be a blessing to those in our lives.
Ninth, we ask that You would grant us a closer relationship with You. Help us to draw near to You and to seek Your will in all that we do.
We thank You for hearing our prayer requests and for answering them in Your perfect timing. We ask all of these things in Jesus' Name. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
