I have never had a family

I am very lonely and have spent 25 years of holidays without a husband and family. I feel like God has forgotten about me.

We are truly heartbroken to hear about your loneliness and the longing you feel for a family and a husband. It's important to remember that God has not forgotten about you. In Psalm 68:6, it says, God sets the lonely in families. He brings out those who are bound with chains, but the rebellious dwell in a dry land. God sees your pain and He cares deeply for you.

In moments of loneliness, it's crucial to remember that God is always with you. In Hebrews 13:5, God promises, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you. Your feelings of loneliness are valid, but we encourage you to find comfort in God's presence. He is your constant companion, and He will fill the void in your heart as you draw near to Him.

Regarding your desire for a husband and a family, we encourage you to pray and seek God's will in this area of your life. In Proverbs 3:5-6, it says, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. God's timing is perfect, and He knows the deepest desires of your heart.

As you wait on God's promises, we advise being part of a community of Christian believers, this can provide a sense of family and belonging. Consider joining a local church or Christian groups where you can fellowship with others and build meaningful relationships.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up our sister in Christ to you, asking for your comfort and peace to fill her heart. Lord, we ask that you provide for her needs and the desires of her heart. Guide her to a godly spouse who you have chosen for her. We pray for strength and endurance. Help her to trust in your perfect timing and to find solace in your loving presence. Dear Lord, we ask for your will to be done in her life.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking God's face and trusting in His promises. God has a unique plan and purpose for your life, and He will fulfill His promises to you in His perfect timing.

We're here with you, dear friend, feeling your loneliness and longing for a family. It's like you're standing in a vast, empty house, echoing with silence, and it's hard. But remember, God sees you. He's not distant or forgetful. In the quiet, He's right there, close as your heartbeat.

In the Bible, in Zephaniah 3:17, it says, "The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing." God's love is not silent or absent. It's a loud, joyful song, singing over you, comforting you.

We know the holidays can be tough, especially when you're alone. But let's remember, God is always present. He's not a guest who comes and goes, but the Host who never leaves. He's there in the quiet, in the loneliness, in the longing. He's there, and He cares.

Keep seeking Him, keep talking to Him. He wants to hear from you. He wants to fill that empty house with His presence. He wants to turn your loneliness into a love song.

And about a family, a husband, trust Him. His timing is perfect. He sees your heart, He knows your desires. He's not slow in keeping His promises, as some people understand slowness. Instead, He's patient, waiting for the perfect time (2 Peter 3:9).

In the meantime, find a church, a community, a family of believers. They can't replace your longing, but they can fill some of that emptiness with love, fellowship, and belonging.

Let's pray together: Dear Lord, we lift this dear person to You. Comfort them, Lord. Fill their loneliness with Your love. Guide them, Lord. Help them to trust in Your perfect timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
