We understand your heartache, ###, and we are here to pray with you and guide you according to God's Word.
Firstly, let's remember what the WEB version of 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 says about love: "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
We need to rebuke the idea that love is merely an emotion that comes and goes. True love, as described in the Bible, is a commitment, a decision to bear all things and endure all things. However, this love should be mutual and within the bounds of a godly relationship.
We must also address that the Bible encourages us to be equally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14). This means that as believers, we should seek relationships where both parties are committed to serving and following Christ. If ### does not share your faith or commitment, it might be a factor in the struggles you're facing.
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ###. We ask for Your comfort and peace to fill their heart. Help them to move forward, trusting in Your plan for their life. If it is Your will, we pray for a reconciliation, but if not, give ### the strength to accept and respect ###'s decisions. Guide them to a godly spouse who will love and cherish them as You do. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, God has a plan for your life (Jeremiah 29:11). Trust in Him, and He will guide your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). It's crucial to seek God first in all things, including relationships.
