I have just started my second semester in a teacher education program where I was bullied by two students last semester. I am already feeling very distant from many of the others because I am a non-traditional student and just can't find connections. I do very well in the classes and want to teach, but a lot of how the professors look at us as students and potential teachers is reflected in how we get along with peers as well. I need guidance in how to handle adversaries and how to join in on class discussions without interrupting and being seen as pushy or needy.

I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit.
