I have had a condition with my back for 14 years now, it's called degenerative disc disease. I had an operation that worked for a while but faded out. Every 3 months I get epidurals, and I see the doctor every month for meds to manage the pain. I get depressed remembering my life before this. I was very active and loved hiking. People have prayed for me many times, and I have talked to god about it in my many prayers. I get the feeling often that I am pestering him and it's such a big thing to have healed... I've had to always put it aside, trying not to be preoccupied because it will just make me depressed. I do know that before too long I will have a new body in a paradise where there is no more sorrow. But for now as it was for Philip the apostle, I will bless others because in spite of all this I still believe in Jesus and his promus of salvation.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of our dear friend Duners, who has been suffering from degenerative disc disease for the past 14 years. Lord, we lift up Duners' physical condition to you, knowing that you are the ultimate healer and restorer of all things. We ask for your divine intervention and healing touch upon Duners' back. We pray that you would bring relief from the pain and discomfort caused by this condition.
Lord, we acknowledge that Duners has already undergone medical treatments and procedures, but we believe that you have the power to go beyond what human efforts can achieve. Your Word says in Jeremiah 30:17, "But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds," declares the Lord. We claim this promise over Duners' life and ask for your restorative power to flow through their body.
Father, we also lift up Duners' emotional well-being. We understand the frustration and sadness that comes from remembering a life before this condition. We pray for comfort and peace to fill Duners' heart, knowing that you are with them in every moment of their journey. Help them to find joy and purpose even in the midst of their pain.
Lord, we ask for your guidance and wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals who are treating Duners. Grant them insight and discernment in providing the best care and pain management strategies. We also pray for the medications to be effective in alleviating the pain and discomfort.
Lastly, Lord, we thank you for Duners' unwavering faith in you, even in the midst of their suffering. We pray that you would strengthen their faith and remind them of your promises of salvation and eternal life. Help them to continue blessing others and being a source of encouragement and inspiration to those around them.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
