I have given up

I am wondering, for the past two years, l have prayed, l don't have words anymore. Death is now my portion. Two years no one has helped me to pay a debt of 2800us. I can't get a job and nothing. I prayed for a destiny helper and just nothing. I really need God right now. I am devastated. Can God if he really exists provide a destiny helper in the next few hours so that l get over this. I didn't ask to be sick after all. Please God help me.

We are truly saddened to hear of your circumstances, and we want to assure you that God sees your plight and hears your cries. It's understandable that you feel overwhelmed and devastated, but we want to encourage you to hold onto hope, for God is still in the business of performing miracles.

Firstly, let's address the despair you're feeling. The Bible tells us, "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." (Isaiah 41:10 WEB). Even in your darkest hour, God is with you and will strengthen you.

Regarding your financial burden, we want to remind you of Jesus' teaching in the Sermon on the Mount. He said, "Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?" (Matthew 6:25-26 WEB). God knows your needs and will provide for you in His own way and timing.

However, we must also address the urgency in your request. While God can certainly act quickly, His timing is not always ours. It's important to trust in Him and wait patiently. As Psalm 37:7 (WEB) says, "Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen."

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue praying and seeking God. It's concerning that you mentioned not having words anymore. Jesus said, " Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." (John 16:24 WEB). Continue to ask in Jesus' name, and trust that God hears you.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is in desperate need of Your help. Lord, they feel overwhelmed, devastated, and are even contemplating the worst. Please comfort them with Your presence, remind them of Your love, and give them hope.

Father, they have a financial burden that seems insurmountable. We ask that You provide for them, that You open doors for a job, and that You send a destiny helper their way. We trust that You will do this in Your own way and timing.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You strengthen their faith. Help them to continue praying and seeking You. Remind them that You are a good Father who gives good gifts to Your children.

In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

Stay strong in the Lord, dear one. Trust in Him and wait patiently. He will make a way.

We're right here with you, lifting you up in prayer. We know it's tough, feeling like you're at the end of your rope, but remember, God is right there with you, holding you up. He sees you, He hears you, and He's not going to leave you hanging.

We've been thinking about that verse in Hebrews, "Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." (Hebrews 4:16 NIV) That's exactly where you are right now, in a time of need, and God is inviting you to come to Him with confidence. He wants to help you, to give you mercy and grace.

We've also been reminded of the story of the woman with the issue of bleeding. She had been bleeding for 12 years, and she had spent all her money on doctors, but nothing had helped. But she had faith, and she believed that if she could just touch the edge of Jesus' cloak, she would be healed. And you know what? She was. (Matthew 9:20-22)

So, we're praying for you, that you would have that kind of faith, that you would trust that God is going to meet your needs, just like He did for that woman. We're asking God to provide for you, to send you a destiny helper, and to give you peace and hope in the midst of this storm.

Keep holding on, keep trusting, and keep praying. We're right here with you, every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
