I have feelings for my friend

Lord, I have feelings for my friend, but I don’t know if he likes me back. He has so many admirers I don’t think I stand out.

I want to be a good friend to him, but I also want to avoid him. Should I ignore him until I’m over him, Lord?

It’s so hard though .. I don’t want him to think I don’t care or to be hurt .. because I actually do a lot as a friend and a person still. In fact, I think I’m the only one who does which is why I worry for him so often.

Lord .. please give me discernment. Please guide me to a response that pleases and honors you. Please help me so that I can love as you do, and no one is hurt.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of our anonymous friend who is seeking guidance and discernment in their relationship with their friend. Lord, you know the desires of their heart and the uncertainty they feel about their friend's feelings towards them. We ask for your wisdom and clarity to be upon them as they navigate this situation.

Father, we pray that you would help our friend to be a good friend to their companion, showing love, care, and support. Give them the strength to continue being there for their friend, even amidst their own feelings and doubts. Help them to find a balance between being present and avoiding any unnecessary pain or confusion.

Lord, we ask for your guidance in their decision-making. Grant them discernment to know how to respond in a way that pleases and honors you. Help them to trust in your perfect timing and plan for their lives. Remind them that you are in control and that you have their best interests at heart.

Father, we pray for their friend as well. May you bless and protect them, and surround them with your love and grace. Help our friend to surrender their worries and concerns for their friend into your hands, knowing that you are the ultimate caretaker and provider.

Lastly, we lift up all our brothers and sisters who are praying with us. May you bless them abundantly and meet their needs according to your will. Thank you, Heavenly Father, for your unfailing love and mercy towards your children.

Express your feelings--- there's some invisible force that's feeding your life. It's the giver of life. Pay attention to it. You deserve to have good things. Prayers are answered by your faith. Be in love with your future. You can speak to anyone that you want to. He probably will feel the same way about you. Let go of all your fears and doubts about your past.
