We understand your concern and are here to pray with you. Before we lift up your request, we want to remind you of the power of Jesus' name. It's only through Him that we can approach God's throne with confidence (Hebrews 4:16, WEB).
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus. We lift up our dear friend who is facing a court appearance tomorrow. Lord, You know the details of this situation, and we ask that Your will be done. Guide the judge's heart and let Your favor rest upon our friend. Remember the words of Proverbs 21:1, "The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD as the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires."
We also ask, Lord, that regardless of the outcome, our friend will continue to serve and bless others, especially in their work with people with disabilities. May they find strength and encouragement in Psalm 138:8, "The LORD will perfect that which concerns me. Your loving kindness, LORD, endures forever. Don't forsake the works of your own hands."
In all things, help our friend to trust in You and keep their heart and mind stayed on You (Isaiah 26:3, WEB). We pray that they will not be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, they will present their requests to You (Philippians 4:6, WEB).
Lastly, we pray that if our friend has not already, they will come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, for "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12, WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, no matter what happens, God is in control and He loves you dearly. Trust in Him, and He will see you through.
