I have been through a lot and I pray that God takes me to heaven as soon as possible, I don’t want to go through turmoil and tribulations in life anymore. I feel like, all my pain and hardships are for nothing, I don’t know why I have to suffer so much in life compared to others. When can this be over? I am tired of constantly fighting and battling in the mind, I am living the life of constant struggle, where are all the God’s promises that I have been holding for over a decade.
It feels much better to hold on than to give in -- keep fighting the good fight. Thank you for asking for prayer. Here are some encouragements from Scripture:
1. James 1:2-3
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”
Trials and tribulations are an inevitable part of life, but the Bible teaches us to find joy in them. This verse instructs us to see trials as an opportunity for growth and development. When our faith is tested, it strengthens our perseverance, making us resilient and steadfast. We can take comfort in knowing that our challenges have a purpose and are not without meaning.
2. 2 Corinthians 4:17
“For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.”
In times of trials and tribulations, it’s crucial to remember that our earthly struggles are temporary.
