I have been given an offer which I signed and am waiting on my background check to clear. I have not heard a response yet since last week and am fearing I am being passed up because of a impaired to the slightest DUI charge(Below .08) that occurred about a year ago. The job involves no driving it is an inside sales job. i have a start date for next week but haven't heard back from manager on when and what I need to bring. Please pray that I have passed all pre qualifications to start and that my start date is still next week as I am praying so hard for this.

My prayers are with you. A humble suggestion...if the DUI is the issue and you have a chance to address it, don't play it down as "impaired to the slightest." That sounds like, not only did you DUI, you make excuses too. Own the situation with "terrible mistake, never happen again" etc. People can understand a mistake, but not someone who's excusing themselves as they admit it.
