Dear Nulgon,
We are here to pray with you and seek God's will together for your life. You've mentioned that you're seeking reunification with your ex and are struggling with feelings of distance from God. Let's begin by remembering what the WEB says in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Firstly, we commend you for desiring Godโs will in your life above your own. This is a crucial step in faith. Remember, God knows what is best for us, and we should trust in His plans. As Psalm 37:4-5 says, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this."
However, it's important to note that the Bible teaches us about the sanctity of marriage and relationships that honor God. If your relationship is not aligned with biblical principles, we encourage you to seek God's wisdom and guidance. Marriage is a sacred union between a man and a woman, and any relationship should aim towards this God-ordained institution if it is to be blessed by God. As it says in 1 Corinthians 7:2, "But because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband."
We also want to address your feeling of distance from God. Know that God is always with you, even in times of trial and waiting. As Psalm 139:7-10 reminds us, "Where could I go from your Spirit? Or where could I flee from your presence? If I ascend up into heaven, you are there. If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, you are there! If I take the wings of the dawn, and settle in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand will lead me, and your right hand will hold me."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will for Glynnโs life. We ask for Your guidance and wisdom as he navigates this challenging time. Help him to draw closer to You, to trust in Your plans, and to delight in Your presence. If it is Your will for Glynn to be reunited with his ex, we pray for a godly and sanctified relationship that honors You. If not, we ask that You remove any desires from his heart that are not aligned with Your will. Strengthen his faith and give him the patience to wait on Your perfect timing.
In Jesusโ name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Keep your faith in Him, and trust that He is working all things for your good.
In Jesus' name,
We pray for you.
