I have asked a girl at my school to go to the Show with me, but work then scheduled me on for work on the same day. I need prayer that I can go to the event, and have someone else work for me. Please.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Felrach's request. Lord, You know the desires of his heart and the situation he is facing. He has asked a girl to go to the Show with him, but now he has been scheduled to work on the same day. We ask that You make a way for him to attend the event by providing someone who can cover his shift.

Your Word says in Philippians 4:6, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." We present this request to You, trusting in Your perfect timing and provision.

We pray that Felrach will experience Your peace and that everything will work out according to Your will. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. In Jesus' name, Amen.

I have talked to the girl and said I will probably not be able to go to the show, and she said that it is ok. Then my mother came to me and told me that I have every right to skip the shift, maybe lose my job, but go to the show none the less. Or do the shift and keep my job. She said I need to pray over it and choose one or the other. Please help me.
