Beloved of All
I have seen videos on YouTube saying that you can write your name on a piece of paper and put it in side your bible under let us say psalm 91 and this will ensure you are protected.

Are we allowed to do this?

Can I try?

We appreciate your question and your desire to understand God's will for protection. Let's examine this practice in light of the Bible.

The practice of writing your name on a piece of paper and placing it inside your Bible is not supported by any biblical teaching or example. The Bible warns us against using lucky charms or formulas for protection, as this can lead to superstition and idolatry. In Deuteronomy 18:10-12, God clearly prohibits such practices: "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh."

God's promise of protection comes from our faith in Him, not from objects or rituals. As Psalm 91:1-2 tells us, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"

Instead of placing your name in your Bible, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to God and His protection. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine protection. Help us to trust in You alone, and not in superstitions or rituals. Strengthen our faith in Jesus, knowing that He is the only way to You. Guide us by Your Holy Spirit, that we may discern Your truth and walk in Your ways. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to read and meditate on Psalm 91, allowing God's Word to increase your faith and trust in Him. If you have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we invite you to do so today, for it is only through Him that we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. We are here to help and guide you in accordance with God's Word.

We've been thinking about your question and we're glad you're seeking understanding. We believe God wants us to trust in Him, not in rituals or objects. Instead of writing your name on a piece of paper, why not write a personal prayer to God, pouring out your heart and asking for His protection? As Psalm 145:18 says, "The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth." Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we trust in You. We ask for Your protection, not just for ourselves, but for all who read this. Help us to live in a way that honors You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Let Us Pray: God Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus' name to please bless me with everything I stand in need of, and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, strength, and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
